The Arthur Show, and Why other Children's shows suck.

Well, this is my second last day of school. I wrote a blog already, and i was whyning till earths end but then i looked at Arthur on google, and really couldn't be mad anymore.

Arthur is definately a great kids show, and according to "Wikipedia" it has a large "Cult following among older viewers". Well ringadingding. My favourite character has got to be Arthur, i also like how unlike other embaressing kid shows that Disney channel has brought about, the characters on Arthur don't try to be cool, or try to do the right thing. Like i remember when i used to watch Zoey 101 and EVERY episode "Zoey" would ALWAYS do the right thing, and she'd always be nice to the "bully". Not realistic Family channel, not realistic.

Well i'm sorry for this embaressing rant, but I couldn't really think of another thing to write about, Arthur kind of relates to school, at least in the sense of when i'm done school i'll be watching it on netflix. Well i hope everyone has a lovely summer/life and i hope i don't fail art. Thanks.

Well, i saw the picture of Osama where his face is all mashed up. I must say, i think it's quite sad that the world has come to being THAT happy about someones death. I'm sorry everyone but just because Osama is dead DOESN'T MEAN there won't be more terrorist attacks, Osama wasn't the only one! Not that i like him or anything, i just think he got all the flack for what any terrorist ever did after 9/11. I don't feel bad for him, or condone what he's done at all and I'm sure it's a big relief for those who lost people in the World Trade Center, and i'm glad for them, and that they can have some closure.

I'm glad they're re-building the trade center, and now they can do it and feel a bit more secure that Osama is dead, however i think it may be a bit of false secuirty because another terrorist would be just as much a threat as Osama, but then again maybe not, considering the rumored "connections" he had.

I thought the whole Charlie Sheen situation was weird news, however, i won't be writting about him i just couldn't find any pictures that coincides with what I'm actually writting about.

I found This on http://bizarretoday.wordpress.com/2010/04/19/weird-news-headlines-of-the-week/

" Denis Danny Roberge, a 19-year-old young man will spend the next 60 days in jail after stealing a beer from a convenience store in Quebec. He stole the $3.37 beer to celebrate having just gotten out of jail. "

I thought it was pretty ironic, and it's in Canada, and everyone seems to love things more if it has to do with Canada. Also, is this even true? Like i'm pretty sure you don't go to jail for 60 days for stealing something under $4.00 . Oh well, maybe you do in Quebec. Or maybe this sites just trying to be "funny" by making up news. Either way this is what i chose.

Well, all i can say is THANK GOD the years almost over, school is getting to be unbearable. No offence. It's like when your reading a book, then you get to having like 2 or 3 chapters left, and you just can't wait to finish it and move onto another one, maybe thats just me. But i don't understand the point of highschool, i really wish it weren't a requirement, considering the majority of time i spend staring at the wall, because i'm either done my work, or i can't stand to look at another piece of paper with this horrid information that i will sure as hell not "hold dear" , i swear i learned more from frikin Arthur, than this DISGUSTING place. I don't know what i'm doing next year. I hate school, so i won't be going to college next year. I think i should go at some point, but if i decide to be a flight attendant i don't need college, contrary to what everyone seems to tell me, even though my uncles a captain and he knows more than anyone who tells me differently. However i don't know if i want to do that for sure, so i'm taking a year to do other things untill i decide. Mostly because i don't want to go to college for something and then realize i don't like it, or that i wish i did something else. I suppose i better decide soon because I want to live in L.A. BECAUSE IT'S ACTUALLY DAMN WARM!!! I hate winter, it makes me depressed. Even when it's hot out for like one day, my mood improves by like 80% . Also the brown-ness of this area is quite ceaseless and bothersome.

Trip To NY

I discovered on this trip how shitty my photography is. Hopefully you can at least try to get the full effect of how great New York really is, and not judge it by my picture taking "skills". The trip was an 8 hour drive. It was pretty strenious, mostly because i can't sleep in a moving vehicle. I think i have maybe twice in my whole life, not counting when i was a baby. The trip to New York was pretty fun, i liked being in New York better than driving there. We stopped a few times, once i got the nastiest meal ever, and other times we stopped at Dennys, and i tryed grits for the first time ever. They're pretty disturbing. I noticed in America the portions were quite large, and i'm pretty sure i gained like 10 pounds while there, maybe because i was trying all these different foods that we don't have here, or maybe their food is more fattening. Who knows. Enjoy my shitty photography.

Trip gone wrong

when i went to cuba in grade six, something went wrong.

I almost fainted. I don't know why, maybe dehhydration, too much sun exposure, who knows. I was waiting in line for my omlette, which by the way the Cuban omlettes are the best i've had, same with their pasta. I started to feel light headed and got a really intense head rush, so i couldn't really see anything other than a floating black blob (headrush) blocking everything out.
Did i go find a chair, or someone to lean on, no. I waited for my omlette. I recieved it, then kept walking to the outdoor table my mom had already saved, i then walked into a glass door because i couldn't see, luckily it wasn't the first day there so i sort of knew my way around. When i crashed into the door, some man or woman ( i couldn't see) said "woaah ha-ha , watch your step there" , i fake laughed and said yah or something to that effect and went through the open door. I found my mom and we went back to the room and i ate my omlette and went to sleep. Good times.

TODAYS BLOG

I'd have to say if i could pick any era to live in, it would have to be late seventies early eighties, like in Dazed And Confuzed. I think that looks like a fun time, and i love the movie. I think it looks like a simpler time for sure, and everyone seems a bit more chill than nowadays. Though i bet in a couple decades they could find a way to make this era look good, when in reality it revolves around internet/phone connections with people rather than talking to people, like they did before the internet and such. Hence i'm in english class right now writting a blog.
